Your brain is the most important organ in the human body. It controls every function of your body from breathing, walking, sleeping, feeling, thinking to many others. But are we aware that our everyday activities can pose a threat to the brain. You cannot notice it because it becomes your normal routine, but we should be very careful with our daily activities & should never forget our brain's health.
Here is a list of 5 habits that damage your brain
Sleep deprivation
To keep yourself physically & mentally healthy take a proper good night sleep. Many people woke up late at night for work, scrolling social media, late night parties. But we don't know that after a bad night sleep, our concentration lacks, have a bad mood, that can harm your memory & has long term effects on your brain.
Not eating breakfast
Breakfast the most important meal of the day, skipping it can be seriously harmful than you think. When you sleep your body & brain continues to function, thus they require complete nutrients after sleep, but not eating breakfast deprives your brain of the nutrients that cause risk of high blood pressure, diabetes & weight gain.
Smoking/ drinking
Smoking or drinking alcohol can cause serious damage to your brain. Researchers have claimed that alcohol consumption harms your brain & leads to memory loss. Similarly, smoking causes brain shrinkage that can cause Alzheimer's disease. It increases cholesterol level, build up fat in your arteries that restricts blood flow to your brain.
Being lonely
Being lonely does not mean you have no friends, but it means you have nobody when you want someone, the quality does matters. In this condition, your brain starts to get stressed as it has no one to talk with, discuss with & causes inflammatory processes in your brain. Your brain is affected by many factors; with your environment, your surrounding, your feeling & your thinking. Treat your brain happily as it is most important for your well-being.
Working when you are sick
When you are sick and you work in such a condition, you force your brain and pressurizes it to work and that is a really bad idea. When you are sick, your immune system also gets weaken & it reduces the efficiency of your brain that can also cause long term brain damage. Your body needs proper rest, sleep when you are sick, rather than forcing it to work. Give your brain and your body proper rest when you feel sick
